Hello, my name is Dr. LJ Punch and I love to heal.
I’m a surgeon and community physician focused on reducing the impact of trauma through radical generosity, harm reduction, accessible clinical and self care, education and advocacy.
While my work began and continues to be focused in St. Louis, Missouri, I have had the opportunity to consult nationally on issues of trauma recovery, wound healing, bullet related injury, racial equity, and healthcare access.
I am the executive director of a non-profit called “The T”, a community of health with a three-fold public health focus on bullets, COVID19 and opioids. I also consult for various health-focused organizations on topics ranging from patient centered wound care to community engagement to Bullet Related Injury treatment and prevention.
